This American Security safe is UL Classified Rated to keep the contents of its safe under 350 degrees while the safe is exposed to a fire of over 1850 degress for up to 2 hours.  In addition, it is rated to keep its contents safe in the event of severe impact, such as a building collapse.  Many safes are protected against a fire, but if the building collapses they open. This safe will survive a 30 foot drop in addition to the fire.
